Plugging into a 120V outlet adds about 4 miles of range per hour. A proper Level 2 install adds 25–40. We've done hundreds of EV installs across Southwest Florida — single car, dual car, garages, carports, and commercial banks.
Most jobs are done in under half a day. Tesla Wall Connector installs typically run $750–$1,400 depending on the run from panel to garage. We give a fixed quote on the visit, not after.

Will my panel support a Level 2 charger?
Probably — but we always run a load calc per NEC 220. Most 200A panels in homes built after 2000 have room for a 40–60A circuit. If yours doesn't, we can install a load-management module (DCC, NeoCharge) or include a service upgrade in the same quote. Either way, you'll know upfront.
Frequently asked
Does Walka Electric do Tesla installs specifically?
Yes — we're experienced Tesla Wall Connector installers across SWFL and follow Tesla's published install specs to the letter.
How long does the install take?
Most home installs take 3–5 hours. Longer wire runs (detached garage, carport) can take a full day.
Do I need a 60A breaker or a 50A?
Depends on the charger and your vehicle. Tesla Gen 3 supports up to 60A; many EVs cap at 48A. We size the circuit to match your hardware.
Is there a tax credit?
Yes. The federal 30C tax credit can cover up to 30% of install cost ($1,000 cap for residential) in eligible census tracts. We'll provide the documentation.
